Fort Fright

Fort Fright returns to the historic walls of Fort Henry, delivering one of Ontario's most unique haunted attractions. Featuring professional scare actors, movie-quality animatronics, special effects, and interactive experiences throughout the site, Fort Fright is designed to thrill and startle.

Important Information

• Scare Shields: Available for purchase online or on-site. Wearing a Scare Shield signals to actors to keep their distance and helps reduce the scare intensity.
• Timed Entry: Tickets are booked in 30-minute entry windows. Please arrive at any time within your selected window. Once inside Fort Fright, you may stay until closing time.
• Virtual Queue Line: On select busy nights, Fort Fright uses a virtual queue line system to improve your waiting experience. Scan the QR code posted onsite and join the line – you’ll receive a text when it’s your turn to enter!
• No Costumes or Masks Allowed: For the safety and security of scare actors and all guests, costumes, props or face coverings are not permitted inside Fort Fright.
• Photography & Video Recording: Permitted in open areas, but not inside the Haunted Maze or other walkthrough attractions.
• Adult Supervision: Is required for children aged 13 and under.

Dark Night Thursdays

Every Thursday in October, experience Fort Fright in near-total darkness with only a single dim flashlight to guide your group through the attraction.

• Age Requirements: Dark Nights are intense and not recommended for young children due to the heightened scare factor. Adult supervision is required for children aged 13 and under.
• Dark Night Thursdays: Every Thursday in October, 8, 15, 22, and 29.
• Flashlights: Only Fort Fright-issued flashlights are permitted.
• No Costumes or Masks Allowed: For the safety and security of scare actors and all guests, costumes, props or face coverings are not permitted inside Fort Fright.
